Wales Online are reporting that Lynda Baron has been spotted on set during the filming of Episode Twelve.

Lynda will be familiar to comedy fans as Nurse Gladys, the object of Ronnie Barker’s characters desire in the late-70’s/early-80’s sitcom Open All Hours and to younger viewers as Auntie Mable in CBeebies Come Outside.

This will be Lynda’s third appearance in Doctor Who, having previously appeared with the Fifth Doctor as Captain Wrack in Season Twenty’s serial Enlightenment and providing the voice for the Singer in the first episode of the First Doctor story The Gunfighters.
