We can confirm that Richard Senior is indeed directing the final block of the series – and actor Paul Bentley’s cv reveals he is playing the Professor in one of these episodes.

Paul is probably best known as a musical theatre performer but he joins Doctor Who from the set of Meryl Streep’s Thatcher biopic, The Iron Lady in which he plays the role of ex-Foreign Secretary Douglas Hurd alongside Doctor Who alumni such as Anthony Head, Olivia Colman, Jim Broadbent and Richard E. Grant.
