Gatiss confirms himself as series seven writer

In this months Doctor Who Magazine’s production notes column regular Who writer, Mark Gatiss has confirmed that he will be writing an episode for Series Seven.

He also reveals that he pitched the episode to Steven Moffat on a train and gives three clues for the episode, namely “Meat”, “Klaxon” and “Vienna”.

This means that other than Steven Moffat, we now have two confirmed writers for the Series, the other writer being Torchwood scribe, John Fay who we reported back in June would be writing an episode.

Not surprising, but good news all the same.

@1ba076de24c949fe7e9e3bda227494ae:disqus Series 7 begins airing in Autumn (this year); but it is uncertain whether the whole series will air then, or whether it will continue into 2013. I certainly can’t wait to see what Gatiss pulls out of the bag this time after his marvel of an episode that was Night Terrors. The three teasers are quite tantalizing and I’m looking forward to it.
